This is a pretty big honor considering Alan Bailey, the CFO of Paramount Pictures and founder of the AOF Film Festival, hand picked Cowboy Smoke for this award. OMG! That is amazing! It has been such a trip for outsiders like me to be involved behind-the-scenes from the script to casting to editing and finally being shown. So many people (myself included) have believed in this project and it is such a rush to see it gain momentum in the public eye. Congrats on all your hard work!

The actual awards ceremony does not take place until July 31st. I was informed of the award yesterday.

Man will, this movie is really taking in plenty of awards. I wish I could have been there at the Ganado screening. We are moving out to El Paso for a year and a half. So if you plan to do any filming out in the desert there and need extras give me a yell at jameskurthjr@yahoo.com. I look foward to at least being an investor with Bandwagon Films again down the road.
