Post-Production Update
Friday, June 22nd, 2007I spoke with our composer Brian Satterwhite this past week and even though we’ve been delayed he remains as enthusiastic about the project as he was a year ago when we first began talking. Brian, an award winning composer, has a long list of credits including the recent IMAX film, Ride Around The World. Brian had watched a rough cut I sent him a while back and could not stop talking about how good he thought the film was and how great everything looked.
At the very least - all this time has allowed me, for better or worse, an opportunity to cut and recut the film. I pretty much watch the film daily and always end up making at least one or two cuts. I saw Bryan Singer (director of Usual Suspects, X-Men movies) speak a few years back and he made the comment that a film is never finished, what usually happens is that you either walk away from the film or just plain run out of time. I mean I could continue tweaking this thing for another year – let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
On a positive note, we do have a handful of potential investor we are talking with and things appear to be heading in the right direction so stay tuned.
