RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL
May 29th, 2007 : by Will MooreJesse Vile, producer of the Raindance Film Festival contacted me a few weeks back and requested a copy of Cowboy Smoke.
He wrote, “My name is Jesse and I produce London’s Raindance Film Festival, the largest indie film fest in Britain. I’m writing because I came across your trailer and I’m really interested in considering this film for our 15th anniversary festival this year.”
I let Jesse know Cowboy Smoke was not completed and he replied that he was still interested, so I will be mailing off a rough cut in the next couple days. Regardless of whether or not Cowboy Smoke is selected for the festival this was exciting news I wanted to share. Jesse emailing me (from England) means that the trailer is being viewed worldwide and that there is definitely an audience for this film.

Strap those spurs on your boots, tie your bandana around your neck and toss on your cowboy hat then saddle up your horse the train is pulling into the station and you need to be on it. The Film Fest producers await the talented Will Moore. HOORAY!

Will, Fagan, Cast and Crew,
I hope you guys have your passports ready. London isn’t like Texas but it’s still cool. My favorite memory is riding the double decker with my wife Katy (Cecil’s daughter) and our daughter Madison. Katy took a pic of Madison on my shoulders as we passed under the Tower of London. It’s 15 pounds for a day ticket to take the bus all over town or you could take the “Tube” but not much to see underground really. You gotta go to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Muesum. If you go after 1700 you’ll save a chunck of change. Take the train from the airport to Victoria Station and then hop a cab to your hotel. If you take a cab to or from the airport it will break the bank. It’s close to 100 pounds to cab to or from the airport. I can’t speak much for the food there either. We found a pizza joint in the mall near Victoria Station. All in all we had a great time there. If you have time take a train to Salisbury and then find a tour bus that will take you to Stonehenge. Of course there is the Salisbury Catherdral too. Best of luck I do hope some of you get to attend. Look forward to seeing you all around Christmas or New Years with any luck I should be home by then. Take care all.
